The Tank Museum Guide to the Rolls-Royce Armoured Car, which will be the Dorset-based museum’s 21st self-published title, comprehensively covers the history, development, production, use and ownership of arguably the finest armored car in history: the Rolls Royce.

Nike Wyness, a spokesperson with The Tank Museum, says: “The Rolls-Royce armoured car was valued for its reliability, speed and adaptability.

“Lawrence of Arabia famously remarked, ‘A Rolls in the desert was above rubies,’ and its service through both the First and Second World Wars highlights its utility and durability.”

Previously published as an owners workshop manual written by David Fletcher MBE, this revised edition includes new chapters on training, variants and users, as well as an expanded photo section and an update on surviving vehicles.

The Tank Museum Guide to the Rolls-Royce Armoured Car is now available for pre-order for a limited-time price of £20, with an anticipated release date of November 2025.
