Ross Barnwell

Ross Barnwell is a freelance writer and filmmaker for War History Online. Since 2010, he has been making historical dramas and documentaries for his company 8000ft Media. He worked as a location assistant and scout for films including Suffragette, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cinderella, and Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Ross often works closely with historian Andy Robertshaw on projects ranging from archaeology on the Western Front, to reconstructing WW1 trench systems. He lives in Normandy, France.
