Tiger 131 is a truly unique vehicle. It was the first Tiger I to be captured by the western Allies in the Second World War, and it’s the only surviving example that you can see in action.

Tiger 131 only runs twice a year, at The Tank Museum‘s Spring and Autumn Tiger Day events, which attract thousands of visitors from all over the world. There are two opportunities to win a ride in museum’s most famous exhibit:

The two lucky winners will take their seats of September 20 at Tiger Day Autumn 2025, where 4,500 visitors are expected to gather.

Ellie Johnston, communications and content coordinator with The Tank Museum, said in a statement:

“It’s an incredible sight to see this historic tank driving around the arena. A ride in Tiger 131 – the world’s most famous tank – will be an unforgettable experience for two lucky winners.”

Tiger 131 has another claim to fame, having starred in the 2013 film Fury, alongside Brad Pitt and the The Tank Museum’s Sherman M4A2 Fury.

Visitors will be able to see Fury alongside other tanks in action, as well as a reconstruction of the capture of Tiger 131.

All profits from the Tiger 131 raffle and auction will go toward supporting the museum’s historic tank collection, ensuring the tank can be kept in running order for years to come.
