For Sale: Sherman Used in Blockbuster Movie Fury And 50 Other Military Vehicles

Now is the time to get your hands on a very special Sherman tank, one that was used in the movie Fury! Together with 38 WWII and 26 other military vehicles of the collection “Jaap de Groot” it will go on auction on January 19th 2016 (save the date!) in the Netherlands.

Jaap de Groot was an industrialist who was collecting military vehicles for decades, after he passed away his remaining collection will now be auctioned off. Most of his earlier collection is now on display in the Overloon War museum.

M4 (105mm) Sherman

The most impressive vehicle going on sale will be the Sherman M4 with 105 mm Howitzer, it has 2 GM 6-cilinder diesel engines, it runs on T80 double pin 23″ width tracks. It was built 1945, the  engines were overhauled in 2014. Link to Auction
