The British Transport Police (BTP) have released the photo of the man responsible for vandalizing a WWI memorial at Glasgow Central station last November 11 – the image was from a take of a CCTV camera just within the area where the incident took place.

The said man had taken the Union Flag from where it was mounted part of the bronze memorial located near the entrance of Gordon Street and had broken it at about 1 PM that day.

BTP stated that officers wanted the man found “as a matter of urgency” as the said vandalism happened on the commemoration of Armistice Day and had clearly marred its memory.

Anyone who has information about the man is asked to get in contact with BTP.
