London: WWII Grenade Sparked Lockdown in a Police Station

London – Chingford Police Station, situated northeast of London, went under a full-scale lockdown when an elderly couple came in hand-carrying a WWII grenade.

76-year-old Doreen Chambers, together with her 63-year-old husband John, came to the police station Monday, November 10, with the WWII grenade in a carrier purse after they learned that Chingford Police Station were administering an arms amnesty.
