Russia: Drone Captures Awesome Footage Of Tanks Pushed To Their Limits (Watch)

This footage from a drone is taken in Russia and shows the Suvorov Onslaught International Army Games. These military ‘Olympic-style’ games occur every year.

Different teams are tested in a variety of unique challenges; one of these is the Tank Biathlon. The drivers of the tank have to show off their skills by navigating around a track as quickly as possible while the rest of the Tank’s crew show off their shooting skills.

These games are named after a Russian military leader and Russian national hero – Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov (1729/1730 – May 18th, 1800).

Alexander Vasilyevich was also the Count of Rymnik, Prince of Italy, Count of the Roman Empire and the final Generalissimo of the Russian Empire.

Suvorov is known as being one of the greatest Generals throughout history and is one of only a few who never lost in battle.

He was undefeated in more than 60 big battles even though he was frequently outnumbered.

Suvorov is largely regarded as being the greatest military leader of Russia and one of the greatest commanders throughout history also.

He was awarded many titles, honors, and medals by Russia and from other countries also. He brought Russia larger borders, military prestige, and theories on warfare.

Suvorov was well-known for his military manual ‘The Science of Victory’ and is famous for his quotes he used regularly. There are quite a few monuments, museums, villages, orders and even military academies dedicated to Suvorov.
