Popular culture takes pot-shots at Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler, Nazi dictator and responsible for igniting World War Two, remains to this day one of the most hated figures in the world.

Popular culture has tapped into this common feeling towards the world’s most hated dictator.

Fiction story telling in books, articles and comic books, movies, TV and the internet have all portrayed Adolf Hitler as the worst villain in history, and sometimes story tellers have used the opportunity to get their own revenge.

Here are a few examples of where popular culture has immortalized the end of Hitler and sentenced him to the villain’s hall of fame:

Bionic Hitler

Bionic Commando Nintendo game has the army is trying to resurrect Adolf Hitler. Nathan “Rad” Spencer stops him escaping and gruesomely blows him up.

Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures portrays Raphael punches Hitler back in time at the end of World War Two and the Ninja Turtles persuading him to shoot himself.

Downfall’s internet treatment has shown Hitler shouting at his closest circle confidantes in a meme and condemning his soul to eternal torment for all time.

Dragon Ball Z has Hitler and his undead soldiers come back to life. They are soon defeated by a pair of children.
