Backlash Against Christian Ministry for Using Hitler Quote

A christian ministry faced backlash from the public after putting up a billboard with a quote from Hitler recently.

Life Savers Ministries, a christian ministry which focuses on helping children, sparked outrage when the huge billboard they posted above one local shopping mall in Auburn featured a quote from the notorious German dictator Adolf Hitler.

The billboard of the said christian ministry had five smiling children on it with the words He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future. The advert made no motion to hide from whom the quote was taken and had the name Adolf Hitler in red printed right next to the words which indicates that it was excerpted from him. The sign had just been put up sometime last week.

The said quote used by the christian ministry in their billboard had been made by Hitler during his speech in 1935. He was then trying to urge German youth to join tube Nazis.

It was Lamar advertising, the company renting the billboard, which divulged that the christian organization Life Savers Ministries, based in Opelika, Alabama, had been the one to rent the billboard space and put up the advert.

The christian ministry, for their part, had apologized in reaction to the negative reactions their huge billboard received.

James Anderegg, the founder of the christian ministry which aims to aid children coming from poor backgrounds, has given the assurance that they are pulling down the billboard and added that they never intended to cause confusion, The Telegraph reports.

He further pointed out that other personalities like Herbert Hoover with his words Children are our most valuable resource  would have been a better person to get an excerpt from. He ended his apologies by saying that the christian ministry is a children’s organization and that they have only honorable intentions in mind.
