Hitler…a Kung Fu master? Well, everything is possible and this upcoming movie attests to that.
The feared German dictator during the Second World War will soon be seen as the world’s most evil Kung Fu master named Kung Fuhrer, that is if the movie’s production team gets the additional funds it needs to see through the filming.
The flick’s producers are trying to raise the funds, about $200,000, in Kickstarter.
As The Verge reports, the trailer of the movie Kung Fury, made up by the raw footage already shot by the movie’s crew literally sums up everything seen in the film – from skateboarding punks to time travelling, dinosaurs, Nazis and Norse gods.
David Sandberg, who wrote the movie’s plot, directed it and also plays the main role, Kung Fury, stated that aside from making all the movie’s environments digitally, a lot of the movie’s characters need to be build using CG animation which requires a lot of time as well as the talent of a lot of people.
The funds they collect through Kickstarter will go towards bringing a team of about 7 visual effects artists together who then will spend 6 months creating the 30-minute movie which will be released free online.
