First-Ever Drone Camera Shoot Allowed at Pearl Harbor (Watch)

The World War II Foundation, in cooperation with Drone Services of Hawaii, Navy Base Pearl Harbor and the FAA is proud to announce that for the first time ever a drone camera has been allowed to fly over the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri and Ford Island.

The footage will be utilized in “Remember Pearl Harbor”, a 1.5 hour long documentary set to premiere on December 4th, 2016, on Ford Island as part of the official 75th-anniversary commemoration ceremonies. The film is being narrated for the World War II Foundation by actor Tom Selleck.

The film will air nationally this fall on PBS stations around the country. It will be the 17th film by Tim Gray Media & The World War II Foundation.
