In pictures: The WWII destroyed village of Oradour sur Glane in France

The entire Oradour-sur-Glane village was destroyed on 10 June 1944, when 642 of its inhabitants, including women and children, were by a German Waffen-SS and the whole village set on fire. Now there is a remebrance centre and a memorial.

  4. I was there a few years ago … it was very sad to see, what humans been might do, to other people, women, children, innocent …. I want to repeat this anymore … unfortunately happen again and again ….
